Clear Rounds Gifted a Dutch Warmblood

The Farr Family of  Shannon Stock Farm in Northern California has gifted CRforCW with a beautiful Dutch Warmblood mare.  Justin Farr and Jana Nason  brought her to Texas last week, as they were in the area for the Fort Worth Stock Show.  She can be sold or leased to the appropriate rider, with the funds going to CRforCW for our continued efforts to help with clean water projects.  This mare (she needs a name – send us your suggestions) is at Molly and Bryan Hunt’s show barn,  Hunters Gate, 9797 Prairie Flower Trail, Princeton, TX  75407.  Come by and see her!  I am going to keep posting updates and more pictures of her, along with blogs, pictures and videos of some of our water projects, upcoming events and news.

I LOVE THE GREY HORSE. YOU SHOULD NAME THIS PRETTY HORSE SPARKLE, I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT HORSES, HOWEVER SHE SHOULD BE NAMED SPARKLE.
YOU KNOW GOD’S PRETTY SNOW FLAKES THAT SHINE WITH THE SUN, WELL THAT’S WHERE I GOT THE IDEA.
THANKS FOR THE CHRISTMAS NEWS LETTER IN THE BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS CARD. KEEP THE GOOD WORKS GOING.
P.S. SHE SHOULD BE NAMED SPARKLE.

What a beautiful mare! I’m looking forward to watching her over the fences, once she’s back in training. She is also a very generous gift, and the Farr family should be commended for donating her.

As for her name, why not something associated with water, specifically clean, drinkable water? Water sparkles, but maybe someone can think of something more evocative. Obviously I can’t, or I’d make a suggestion — could be I’m a little dehydrated and my mind isn’t working just right?

Thanks Deannie, I wish you had a suggestion for her name!! ;-)

Thanks, Mike Smith for commenting on this lovely animal, and I so agree that the Farr family and the Shannon Stock Farm indeed have been very generous. I think you are correct, her name should perhaps reflect sparkling water – but someone surely has got to have a suggestion for us. Something that doesn’t sound like a drink order (however, Harvey Wallbanger as a name for a big gelding has a certain charm)!

The Farr family and Shannon Stock Farm has provided Clear Rounds for Clean Water with a most wonderful and generous gift! Many thanks.

As far as a name for this beautiful mare, how about Rain Cloud? She is grey so it fits and it deals with water. Or perhaps Fluidity? Just a few thoughts.

I can’t believe this beautiful mare was donated to CRCW to be sold with the proceeds to suppport your clean water projects throughout the world. Yea, the Farr family for this contribution. Is she for sale now? What is the procedure to see her? This is a wonderful deal for CRCW.
